Installing wall fountains for homes can be a simple project
that can be done in a day or less. Shopping for wall

decision, here are some guidelines to help you out with
your installation.

Following these guidelines could help you save hours of
work.

1. Choose your wall fountain carefully.  Make sure that you
have carefully considered its placement and that it will
fit in the area you have chosen.

2. Check the integrity of the wall where you want your wall
fountain to hang. Make sure that it can carry the weight.
Do not start installing the fountain without knowing its
weight and its water capacity.  Add the two weights to
decide if the wall has capacity to handle your fountains
weight.

3. Check if there is socket nearby to plug your wall
fountain.  Try to avoid using extension cords. See if there
is a socket on the back of the fountain to place the
transformer or adapter.

4. Read the manual carefully that comes with your fountain.
 Doing so will save you from costly mistakes.

5. Check if your package has all the parts indicated in the
box.

6. Most of the wall mounted fountains have hanging
mechanism at the back.  Check out and measure the space and
mark it on the wall where you want to place your fountain.

7. With some use of a level, hang your wall fountain to
ensure that they are properly aligned.

8. Slide the tubing and connect it to the pump and fill the
basin with water.  Make sure that your basin is water
tight.  You can either use a sealing agent or a flexible
sealing agent for this purpose.

9. If you want to hide the cord, you can easily do so if
you have a trellis or you can run it at the back of the
wall.

10.Plug the pump into a protected outlet to avoid
accidents. Protect the outlet with GFCI.  If the plug that
comes with your wall fountain is not flat, your power
outlet should be recessed.  Test your wall fountain and
ensure that everything is working properly.

Installing a wall fountain can either be simple or
complicated depending on the size and materials that you
have chosen.  While small fountains can be easily
installed, bigger wall fountains may require professional
contractor to do it for you.
